I’ve tried never to think about my writing too much. A superstitious part of me fears that if I think about the process, I’ll ruin it. I prefer to keep the creative process mysterious. (Maybe this is why some of my friends call me Mystery — you know who you are 🙂

The very interesting thing about having my book out is that people see things in the writing that I never would have thought of. I couldn’t think of this stuff if I tried. Is my subconscious awareness more eloquent than I am? I hope so. I just try to get my clunky, processor, every-day mind out of the way. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
