I am also available for private yoga sessions for individuals or groups.
I started doing yoga in the late 1990s. I got my 200-hour instructor certification in 2007 from Yoga North, a school in the Himalayan Tradition. I loved it so much I followed up with more training at the same school and got my 500-hour certification in 2009. That's the power of yoga!
What continues to amaze me is the power of a daily personal yoga practice. The discipline of returning to something over and over again has had big implications in the rest of my life. Try it and see!
I believe that embodying change and awareness in the body leads to change and awareness in other ways. The body really does lead to the breath, which leads to the mind. You can become aware of your patterns and your blocks, and work around them or with them as you choose.
I'm also very excited about workshops I will be giving that use yoga to help artists and writers sustain a strong creative practice. Click on Workshops for more details!
People come to yoga for different reasons - flexibility, mobility, peace, stress-relief, balance, strength, and others. I try to meet each student where they're at; and I'm happy to help them delve deeper into yoga! Try yoga for a healthier body, a peaceful mind, and enhanced quality of life!

Class Information
Generally I offer a class through North Woods Community Education that meets at the school. I also offer a Saturday morning class that meets at True Care Therapy Center (Cook, MN) from 8-9 a.m. Call 218-235-9096 or e-mail for details and pricing.
